Seven Tips How to Behave in Any Night Club in New York City

1.Have a nice grin
One thing that is in popular in every night club in New York City is that all the people have a grin on their face. Smiles project self-confidence and joyfulness. And trust me, nobody likes a person who's all really serious on a Friday or Saturday night in a club.

2.Be courteous
Being polite is just a sign of good etiquette. And in a society of people who aren't well mannered you will come as a refreshment to the scene. Always greet people with a smile, make them feel at ease around you and they will love you as if you were made out of gold.

3.Don't hold your drink in front of your torso

Holding a drink in front of you while you talk to somebody means that you are guarding yourself from that person or that you feel discomfort on the story at hand. Lower your beer bottle or put it on a table and don't fiddle with it. You don't want to come off as excited. Show that you feel comfortable with who you are and people will like you.

4.Don't stand still in one spot
People who do so just come off as creepy, especially if they don't have any friends around them. Keep in mind that there are always some weird people in each of the night clubs in New York City, and you have to watch your self and be careful who you meet. On the other hand it's a different situation if you are talking to someone, but standing still all by your self is just plain creepy.

5.Watch your posture
Not many people notice how they hold themselves while standing, as a result they hunch forward at times and as a result come off as being weird. Always stand straight, keep your shoulders slightly back, chest slightly out and keep your hands out of your pockets at all times. You don't want to seam as if you are hiding something.

6.Be careful where you sit down
Many interactions happen at tables and thus how you sit down and where you sit down really matter. You must observe how everybody is sitting at the table and then position your self accordingly. Trust me: you don't want to sit in between two people that seam like a couple or are about to become a couple. Many fights in night clubs start because of stupid things like that. As a rule of thumb ask how they all know each other and then either sit next to the person you wish to talk to or sit on some chair and append to the group in that way.

7.Never talk about any serious and boring stuff – seriously
How many times have you gone to your favorite night club in New York City and only to get there and find your friends all involved into a serious discussion about anything.

IT'S FRIDAY/SATURDAY NIGHT. HAVE FUN AND LEAVE THE DISCUSSIONS FOR SUDNAY

Seven Things I Like About Night Clubs in New York City

1.The atmosphere

It is remarkable how exciting night clubs in New York City can be. The owners really know what they are doing and really fully understand what people want. It always surprises me how such places end up loaded with so happy and joyful people that absolutely thrive on meeting new people. And that leads me to the second thing I like most about night clubs.

2.The individuals

I always enjoy meeting new people in night clubs. Quite often they are really pleasant and want to meet new people. You might run into some people that aren't friendly but most of the time you can just turn around and start interacting with a different person. It is likely you'll run into a more friendly person.

3.The music

Personally I really like a good DJ at a night club. A bad DJ, even at a club I like to hang out more often, is a deal breaker for me. There is nothing better then having a professional DJ scan the audience and feel its pulse and then matching it with the music. As the night climaxes the beats go faster and faster and they just make you wanna move your body – even if you don't know how to dance.

4.The ambient

During any type of holiday or any kind of festivity I'm always fascinated how some night clubs in New York City manage to decorate themselves. Everything is so nice and shiny, just looking at it makes you want to put a smile on your face. Some night club owners forget how important the effect of the ambient is on the people in the club.

5.Theme nights

Things like “Tequila night” or “Vodka Party” are really cool things in night clubs. Simply because you can get drunk faster, for usually less money, and you meet people much easier once you buy them a drink or two.

6.Dance floor

Perhaps it's just me, but I love dancing, and a nice and big dance floor gets my vote any time. For me personally, and from what I've seen, a lot of other people love to dance. So having a enough space to move your body is definitely a big plus in my book.

7.The Adventure

As many night clubs in New York City as there are, they all try to give us as good as an experience as they can. You really must appreciate the effort they've put into creating it. Once you really start thinking about all the people that made the effort to provide you with a fun night in your life you really start to see and appreciate the effort they made.

Care to Have Awesome Fun in Night Clubs in New York City

It's been a while since I went clubbing. And boy do night clubs in New York City have to offer some excitement... There is nothing more amusing then gathering your friends and heading out to party all night.

Dancing, drinking, meeting new people, discovering new and exciting places that New York has to give. But of course, each night of clubbing has its own set of rituals. Depending If we want to go dancing or just spend time with some good music in the background we all have to do our little rituals. First we all go downtown and we get together with the whole group. Then we all grab something to eat and head down to find ourself the spot for the evening.

We usually try to go to a different place since there are so many night clubs in New York City to choose from. Occasionally when we all feel down we go to relax in a lounge bar or an ordinary pub. However, we nearly always try to have a good time and dance as much as we can.

We mostly look out for clubs with good DJ's since we feel that the music is the most important. Then, based on how and what we've eaten we decide weather to drink or not. Mostly we go for tequila shots so we try to find a club where there is a tequila night.

Most of the times we fail at finding such a place, but with a city like New York you can never tell what you might run into.

Once we unwind at some club-we take over the bar and start drinking. Good prices are always good, but are not mandatory for a good time. Personally I'd rather pay a bit extra for my drinks and enjoy a good DJ then listen to some crappy DJ show off his skills for the first time just to save a few dollars... (this kind of things make me wanna puke)

Then we all go to the dance floor and depending on the type of music we either dance or we talk to people. It's interesting how many people are nice at the dance floor.

There are always a few of them who think they are the king/queen of the club and they are not to be talked to but we don't let those people ruin our night out.

Once the night is over, we all head back home to sleep, because tomorrow we will be looking for more night clubs in New York City to have fun at. There are always new clubs to be discovered, always new people to meet, and always good times to have.

And just when you taught you went trough all the clubs there is always some new night club that opens up. At least it's never boring when you go out clubbing, there are so many options that you have available that it's scary to say the least. And the best part: all you need is an open mind and some time to spare :)
